Goldfinger - 1964

GOLDFINGA...He's the man...the man with the MIIIIIIDAS TOUCH!

Goldfinger is the one of the BEST of the bond movies in my opinion. And WOW, there are a BUTT-LOAD of bond movies. See, Jeff's a BIG fan of James Bond. I have seen every single bond movie at least once. After 13 years of marriage, I think that averages out to....man, I have no idea. ANYWAY...

I like Goldfinger because I feel like bond comes into his own in this movie. He's got the Astin Martin and he's got all sorts of gizmos and contraptions. There's a gold painted girl, an airline flight, almost certain death by laser beams - wow.

After awhile, most bond movies seem to meld together for me. This one seems to stick out a little better than most. Many of my conversations with Jeff go like this: Jeff: Want to watch XXXXXXX? (some bond movie) Stephanie: Sure, is that the one with the girl and the evil guy and the shooting and secret spying? Jeff: You just described EVERY single Bond movie. Stephanie: I know, they're all the same to me...
