Phineas and Ferb: Summer Belongs To You - 2010

I am counting this as a movie since it has it's own theme song performed by Clay Aiken and Chaka Khan (I know, I know) and it was much longer than ONE episode - it was as long as TWO episodes. ;) AND because it was Friday night and it has been a LONG LONG week and I was exhausted - plus Emmy and I were pretty excited to watch it.

Phineas and Ferb are brothers in a Disney animated series. They spend every day of the summer (that has lasted for about 2 years now) working on incredible inventions. In this "summer is almost over" movie, they created a special rocket plane to travel around the world, thereby creating the funnest and LONGEST day of summer vacation by doing all of this on the Summer Solstice.

They head to Tokyo and then to Paris...by way of several places in the middle. Filled with catchy songs and even some inside jokes (Phineas and Ferb are on during Spongebob and once scene has Phineas digging up a yellow sponge and pink starfish)kids and adults alike will really enjoy this movie. Phineas and Ferb are such a welcome addition to the Disney Channel. I love how they get kids thinking that it's cool to be all science-y and dream up ideas to make things better. Also, Phineas and Ferb always find a way to succeed - even when they fail.
