What do you get when you put three witches up against three smart kids and a sarcastic feline(who used to be a little boy)? A pretty great Halloween movie, actually.
Bette Midler shines in this movie - and a cameo from Laverne (Penny Marshall) makes this a special favorite for me...but also Sarah Jessica Parker, Kathy Najimy and even Thora Birch are some of the other big names in this movie.
Two kids moved to Salem where a museum exists dedicated to three witch sisters who were known to have EATEN children years earlier. Now they're back and looking for eternal life by killing and eating children...again. It's the job of the kids and the kid like feline to try and save the day and make the town safe for all the citizens again.
