So, imagine that this date is actually one day sooner. :) I completely "spaced" (hahah, you'll get that tomorrow) writing it yesterday.
Inside the Vatican was an interesting documentary about the inside of Vatican City and some of the details and lesser-known information about The Pope and about a lot of the church officials living and working inside Vatican City.
The Swiss Guard are actually covered in detail in this documentary, and I found the details of their jobs, clothing (very exciting for my costume-y friends!) and devotion to The Pope.
It was very moving to see men of faith so dedicated to their beliefs going through a process of dedication in the church as they are assigned tasks and positions of great importance. It was also wonderful to see the art and architecture of the church and buildings located in Vatican City.
