My favorite Bond...wooing and MARRYING! Yes indeed.
Lazenby plays Bond for the first time and manages to fall for the daughter of a crime boss. The two part ways temporarily. Bond makes his way to Switzerland and shows up at an experimental facility for individuals trying to get past their issues. He poses as a wealthy man interested in the facility. He is actually investigating the gentleman who runs the facility - Blofeld.
At this facility, dozens of beautiful women throw themselves at Bond. I really think it's probably more women than Bond has ever been involved with at once! :) Most movies have a happy ending. This movie does not. I love that we get to see the tenderness of Bond - but the sad ending, while necessary, almost keeps this from being my favorite Bond movie. I think I keep watching it because I am hoping it will end differently the next time I see it.
