Where can one begin with something as epic as this movie?
I guess I can share a story about the first time I was SUPPOSED to see this movie. My cousin Sam was going out with friends to see the movie and said I could go too - we all piled into an old car and headed to the theater in Hartford, CT. Unfortunately, we couldn't find the theater. Had we been able to find it, I wouldn't have had the pleasure of being involved in a gas station altercation later that night in New Britain. It was a moment that I won't soon forget - kind of like the first time I saw Tim Curry hustle through the Time Warp scene and sing the Sweet Transvestite song.
I organized a viewing of The Rocky Horror Picture Show in college. I wasn't able to attend personally (family time commitment), but I know that the best part was in the planning of the event. Toast, plastic sheeting, water - all important ingredients for a special viewing of the movie.
For those who just haven't seen it, I can describe it in short:
A GOOD EXCUSE TO SEE MEN IN SUPER-TINY UNDERPANTS. THE END. Oh, plus Meatloaf.
