This movie is absolute perfection. I just love it. From the first time I saw Kip chatting online with "babes" and Uncle Rico throw a football. I just love this movie. Of course, it doesn't help the state I live in as far as street cred goes - since the movie was actually FILMED in IDAHO. Although, something ELSE not helping the cred along (and actually contributing to the LACK of cred) and in keeping with the idea that everyone in Idaho is a few degrees of seperation from everyone else - the chicken farm scene was filmed at my friend Karen's uncle's chicken farm. :)
I think one of the reasons I love Napoleon so much is that he is me and you and everyone - our weirdest traits - he's all of them rolled into one. He lets us be completely comfortable with our weirdness - and our coolness. Hello - MOON BOOTS!
I like picturing Deb and Napoloeon going to college together and ending up married and having a bunch of side-ponytailed little Napoleoninas and Debbos. Of course, there will be tetherball at the wedding.
