Gwenyth Paltrow and Jude Law star in a sci-fi retro art deco movie? Yes...and they actually made a really good family film!
Sky Captain saves the day (sort of) when Robots invade the city...suddenly question arises. WHY did robots invade the city? It's up to the sneaky photog'ing reporter (Paltrow) and courageous Sky Captain (Law) to figure it out.
The dramatic scenery, awe-inspiring and sweeping camera shots and angles and the creativity of the creature design make this movie a really epic movie as far as kid friendly films go. You know those kinds of movies that let you take it to the playground and pretend to be Sky Captain later? Yeah, this one definately managed a short following and imagination-inspired playtime later.
