This documentary detailed the things that happen when the body starts the process of dying. There were some good facts about the history of death, but overall, not a lot of the super-scientific stuff.
I’m not really completely sure what I was hoping for from this documentary. I wanted to gain a little more insight and information into what happens when someone dies. I feel like this documentary only touched delicately on some of the details of what happens when someone’s organs start shutting down and death begins to overtake them.
Rather than discuss a lot of the medical details, this documentary has vignettes of reenactments and I just felt that the science was somewhat lost in the shuffle of emotional stories. I suppose the entire idea is a little macabre, but if you think about it, what could you be MORE curious about than something everyone experiences but never actually sees or feels – that we know of.
