Demetri Martin. Person.

One of the highest rated things I have EVER seen on IMDB was this mini-movie
/comedy/stand up show done by Demetri Martin. I was quite anxious to see what all the fuss was about.

Turns out, the guy is pretty hysterical. Well, maybe not if you don't go in for the "oddly funny in a sarcastic way when you least expect it. I happen to love that kind of humor. If you're not sure whether you like it or not, I've plugged in a quote from the film below so you can see an example of one of the funniest parts:

"There's a saying that goes "People who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones." Okay. How about "Nobody should throw stones." That's crappy behavior. My policy is: "No stone throwing regardless of housing situation." Don't do it. There is one exception though. If you're trapped in a glass house, and you have a stone, then throw it. What are you, an idiot? So maybe it's "Only people in glass houses should throw stones, provided they are trapped in the house with a stone." It's a little longer, but yeah.

If you find this funny, I think it's a pretty safe bet that Demetri Martin. Person. will be a good recommendation for some evening when you're looking for a good laugh. The show lasts about an hour - which can fit into almost any person's evening schedule. It's definitely NOT child-safe, but it's also not as dirty as something like Eddie Murphy: Raw.
