Back before Howie Mandel was asking if we wanted to "Deal Or No Deal", he was a struggling 80's comic trying to make the transition from stand-up to starring actor. He was in several movies - including the voice of Gizmo in Gremlins (!) in the 1980's - but Walk Like A Man was the one that really set the stage for his character acting.
In the movie, Howie is "Bobo" - a man left with wolves when he was a boy. He learned their ways and was suddenly discovered living amongst them as an adult. He is reunited with his family and a naturalist named Penny helps him re-adjust to life around real people.
We watch Bobo interacting in all sorts of funny experiences. His first trip to a mall to try on clothes, his re-entry into real life involves eating, going to the bathroom, learning, reading, experiencing everything we take for granted. The movie got a pretty low rating on IMDB, but when you can find a movie rated PG that children AND parents can watch together, I say it always deserves at LEAST 5 stars.
