Dr. Neil deGrasse Tyson rocks my universe again. :)
This man can do no wrong! Well, no wrong that is until he manages to anger some pretty important scientists and native sons and daughters when he unceremoniously begins the war on "planet" Pluto!
You would be amazed how many people in America take their Pluto loving VERY seriously. Beginning with Walt Disney (who deGrasse Tyson DOES *almost* confirm named Pluto the dog after Pluto the planet). deGrasse Tyson also heads off to a small town in Illinois where the actual man who first located Pluto in the night sky was from. He went to the town barber and had a sit-down conversation with the elders of the town to discuss the findings as well as share some smiles.
The thing we loved most about this show was the Road Trip feel we got from watching it. Each moment was captivating and deGrasse Tyson makes all science - no matter what your intelligence level is - completely attainable and enjoyable. What a joy and pleasure to watch him!
